アキコ先生は優しく、指導がとても分かりやすかったです。
温かい雰囲気のスタジオで、子どもたちも楽しく学べました。
初めての書道体験で、手ぶらでも楽しめたのが良かったです。
We really enjoyed our family calligraphy experience at Atelier Sakura. Akiko did a great job adapting the class for both the adults and the kids, so everyone could take part and have fun. She patiently explained the basics and gave us lots of time to practice, which made us feel much more comfortable by the end. It was a lovely experience and a great introduction to Japanese calligraphy. We’d definitely recommend it!

Great experience of calligraphy in Hakodate at Atelier Sakura! Akiko was very welcoming, explained the art and basic techniques of calligraphy and then made us practice. We ended up with three scrolls with 'blessing', 'smile' and 'samurai spirit' written on them after only one hour. A wonderful experience that we very warmly recommend to anyone going to Hakodate and wanting to experience more than the docks and fish restaurants!
We had an amazing experience at Atelier Sakura! Akiko-sensei was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and patient, making it the perfect introduction to calligraphy for beginners. We highly recommend this workshop, it was a fun experience!
I brought my family to Atelier Sakura back in May when they came to visit Japan. The 書道 course was one of their favorite cultural experiences that they got to do throughout the whole trip. If you or your family have any interest in traditional Japanese art forms or just want a fun and informative way to spend an hour of your trip to Hakodate, I'd highly recommend making a reservation.

Akiko sensei was very skillful, professional, patient, and kind. This was my first time doing Japanese calligraphy, and it was the best experience by far. During the class, she offered many positive criticism, so the students can improve their skill. I booked two more session with her because I was so satisfied with the overall experience.
海外在住のため、夏休み中に娘と2人で数回でしたが、温かく迎えていただき、通わせてもらいました。習字はほぼ初めての娘と何十年ぶりに筆を持った私でしたが、とても充実した時間でした。静かに習字に向き合う貴重な機会で、また通いたい！と2人で意気込んでいます。

書道家の明子先生がとても明るく楽しく教えてくれます。楽しい雰囲気でありながらも、先生がお手本を書く時は瞬時に集中して迷いなく書くきます。それが見ていてとても圧倒されます。ミニ掛軸に篆書で自分が選んだ文字を書きましたが、あまり書く機会がない篆書の指導もわかりやすく、先生のおかげで自分でも納得する線が書けました。家に飾りたいと思います。
