Japan Private Tour helped us to organise a 3D2N journey on the Mizukaze train across the Sanyin and Sanyo region west of Japan. The whole tour was immaculately planned to a T with only praises and no complaints.
If you prefer private tours of Japan, this is a fantastic agency. Their fees are more than reasonable and the skill level of their super helpful staff is amazing. Prompt communication via WhatsApp, very helpful suggestions for lodging, dining and sightseeing. They let you create your own itinerary but I would highly recommend taking into consideration whatever they suggest. They will work with you from scratch, accommodate your budget and provide superb guides and drivers, book attractions, restaurants or whatever else you might need. They will answer any questions regarding basic stuff such as public transportation, eSIM options etc. You may opt for only some of the multitude of services they offer, or have every single day of an entire trip organized by them. Staff is super kind and super helpful. Unlike several other Japanese agencies I contacted, they were able to work with me on a relatively short notice and do an outstanding job with a limited time that was available to organize this trip. This was one of the best travel experiences in years.
We visited Japan for 9 days through JPT. The company provided a detailed itinerary, a private car with a driver and an English speaking guide.The itinerary was well throught of, including visits to temples, shrines, city landmarks, important streets, markets, nature and beautiful gardens. The itinerary was nice because it contained a nice choice of places, full, yet not exhausting. The car, driver and guides were perfect.JPT also gave advise regarding hotels & places for dinner. This is our second time coming to Japan as a 3-generational family group of 10. Both times we have relied upon JPT to organize and plan for our group ranging in age from 8 to 70. Our experiences ran the gamut from Universal Studios to sea kayaking in western Japan. We were visiting mostly in small towns and very rural areas where JPT's knowledge of local customs, traditions, guides and infrastructure was invaluable. To get around Japan, we relied on trains, buses and private cars as recommended by JPT. They also recommended fantastic accommodations ranging from minshuku, ryokan, to luxurious hotels and villas. In other words, if you can imagine it, JPT will make it happen! But most importantly to us, JPT helped us plan a reunion with our extended family members in western Japan which was no small feat. They provided us with the nicest guide/interpreters and drivers. JPT was really invaluable in making this an incredibly joyous and successful reunion which I could never have done on my own. Whether you are an experienced Japanese traveler or new to Japan, JPT will make your visit super special and wonderful. We will be contacting JPT again when we return to Japan!

Price is what you pay, value is what you get. But with JPT, you definitely will get a top notch value and experience. JPT exceeded our expectations! We had a fantastic time exploring Kyoto and Sapporo with our knowledgeable and personable guide, Afra.Private tours can be more expensive than group tours. However, we felt the personalized experience and the expertise of our guide were well WORTH the investment.The itinerary might feel a bit rushed for some travelers. However, we were able to communicate our preferred pace to our guide and adjust accordingly. All the logistics were seamlessly handled by the tour operator, from transportation to accommodation. This allowed us to relax and simply enjoy the journey.I highly recommend JPT to anyone seeking a personalized and enriching journey through Japan!
Highly recommend JPT for your next adventure to Japan. All the stress was removed from my planning thanks to Nanami and his team. They took the time and care to understand our needs and interests and worked diligently to find the right destinations, accommodation and tours. No ask was too much. Will definitely be using them again for our next trip.
