Absolutely brilliant place. I believe this shop just opened - it’s run by 2 people but the service and food quality is truly amazing. Deserving of a 5 star rating.
Amazing experience! The owner is super friendly and the food is delicious!! We had a great time at his cozy Izakaya and decided to go back there in our second night. Friendly locals made the experience even more special!
Le restaurant est situé proche de l’hôtel.Il n’y a pas beaucoup de places mais le personnel saura vous trouver une place si vous patientez un peu.La nourriture est très bonne, la panure est excellente, l’ambiance est top.C’était une très belle expérience et nous y retournerons à l’occasion !
This hidden gem was right next to our hotel, open late on a weekday. The food was very tasty, fresh, and extremely affordable. Best dining experience we've had in Nikko! Your meal may take some time to arrive, but that's because the chef is preparing it carefully and skilfully, right in front of you. After the meal, the chef kindly gave us additional salmon nigiri, which was simply divine, and pieces of sweet potato. I particularly enjoyed the karaage and non-alcoholic cocktails (mocktails). There aren't many seats in the restaurant, and given the proximity to the hotel, it may be packed quickly. Smaller parties of two may have more luck to get in, or it is worth the wait if you can!

全て美味しいから文字が書いてあるだけのメニュー表を見るだけでワクワクする。特に半熟煮卵がおいしかった。
Went this evening , authentic local bar. Food cooked fresh, just behind the bar.Everything was in Japanese, but staff really helpful in translating, and Google translate did the rest.Locals very friendly.Excellent value.
