M1997 is one of the best if not the best Art Gallery in Himeji. It is run by a very welcoming, caring and knowledgeable couple. They are always putting regular events and exhibitions on that showcase some of the best and upcoming artists and photographers from Japan and around the world. If you are in Himeji or coming to Himeji and looking for something to do, I highly recommend that you add M1997 to your list of things to do!
