I wanted to buy a yukata for use as a casual summer dressing gown. I had not been successful in various department stores. We then came across this little shop in the arcades near Kurashiki train station. The lovely lady not only had cotton yukatas, she helped me try on a couple and once I’d made my choice she shortened it for me and created a belt from the off-cut. All within an hour. I also bought a bag from her. All at very reasonable prices. I was keen to support this small business. The lovely bag is made from a former kimono/obi.
5 stars!I bought three second-hand kimonos from this wonderful lady and the experience was truly exceptional. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and thoughtful. Every detail was carefully considered, and you can really feel how much heart she puts into what she does. Thank you so much for your care and generosity — I’m deeply grateful!
旅行で通りがかりました。帯や着物のリメイクトートバッグがとても素敵で、旅行中なのに、２つ買ってしまいました。とても素敵なので、帰ってからもたくさん使いたいと思います。お店の方も素敵な方で、とてもフレンドリーでした。ありがとうございます。
The owner, a lady, is very helpful and super friedly. She does speak some English as well. She gave her best to find a fitting Kimono for me. Since I'm very tall it was not any easy task. I bought a beautiful reddish kimono and a very antique looking obi. Went wearing it to a shrine. Looks fantastic.
旅行で散策していたところ、表の羽織が気になりお店の中へ。普段着にあわせられる羽織や、子供の七五三一式も用意して頂きました。一期一会とはいいますが、いい買い物が出来ました。
すごく相談しやすく、かなりお手頃な価格で娘の着物一式揃っちゃいました！助かります！
手頃なお値段で良いものが買えます。お店の方も親切フレンドリーで、相談にのってもらえます。
