Typical military barber offering basic cuts and some stylized cuts from certain barbers. Wait time can be long but if you need a basic cut, line or trim this is not a bad option. I had my cut done by Yazu.
After I stood up when they called my number, the barber came over and told the lady from the counter that there was somebody waiting before me. OK, I sat back down without saying a word. Then, after checking the other customer's number, it turned out he wasn't there before me. This same barber who spent a good hour on his previous customer, then cut my hair in less than 10 minutes. I assume he didn't want to cut my hair. I'm certain he made me feel 2nd class. I didn't tip him. This is the 1st time in using exchange barbers in over 45 years that I haven't tipped one. Nobody seems to notice or care about anything that was going on at the time - a lack of supervision. I'm appalled at the level of apathy, incompetency, and being as generous as i can: partiality here.

***Require Base access***Hours are 0830 to 1900. Holiday hours may vary.They have about 10 rotating barbers and they will at least have 6 barbers going at once.When you first arrive take a number from the red ticket wheel on the right. If you have a preferred barber you can place your ticket on the counter of your barber and when the number is called or passes you will be next for that barber. If the barber is free before your number they will take care of the number before yours.There are a lot of foot traffic but once you are seated in the barbers chair you should be done in about 15-25 mins depending on your hair and cut style you want.I do have to warn you will wait about an hour during peak times and when ships are in. Highly recommend going when it opens.The barbers are all local Japanese but can speak English and they are all great. They are also great with kids too. Definitely helps the barber if your kid doesn't cooperate to assist them by keeping the kid still.People have their own preference of barber but I haven't had any issues with any of them.Once you're done they will hand you a ticket which you will take to the front counter to pay. You can add tip to your card payment and they will hand you cash of the top to give to the barber. As of January 2026, $13 for standard haircut.Overall the staff is great and if you time it right you can get through quick or get the barber of your choice. For someone needing a haircut every two weeks a great place to get a haircut.
