Our experience with Untold Japan was nothing short of extraordinary. From the very beginning, the team demonstrated exceptional organization, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for creating unforgettable journeys. Every aspect of our trip was seamlessly planned, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in Japan’s rich culture, stunning landscapes, and unique traditions.The true highlight of our adventure was our incredible guide, Amy. She was absolutely amazing and made our trip extra special and so much fun. Amy is highly knowledgeable, professional, and engaging, bringing each destination to life with fascinating insights and stories. She quickly got to know our personalities, which made the experience feel uniquely personalized and thoughtfully tailored to our interests.Having Amy as our guide throughout the entire duration of our travels was a tremendous advantage. We had the most incredible experience with Untold Japan. From start to finish, everything was thoughtfully planned and tailored to what we love, while still surprising us with new experiences that made the trip even more special.We spent most of our time with Shoma, who was not only incredibly knowledgeable about Japan’s rich history but also made sure our journey was the perfect mix of history, culture, and food. He planned everything so well, ensuring we got to see and do everything we were excited about while also introducing us to experiences we never would have thought to try on our own. Every detail was carefully considered, and we truly felt immersed in Japan’s culture in a way that wouldn’t have been possible without him.For the first few days and at the end of our trip, we were also with Miho, who was so sweet and welcoming. She made us feel at home right away and added such a warm and personal touch to our experience. Both Shoma and Miho went above and beyond to make this trip unforgettable.This was hands down the best trip we’ve ever been on, and we’ll definitely be using Untold Japan again when we return. If you’re looking for a personalized, immersive way to experience Japan, we can’t recommend them enough!
Nuestra experiencia en Japón con Untold Japan;Desde el principio que contactamos a Untold Japan hubo un trato y respuesta a nuestras preguntas con un alto nivel de conocimiento, amabilidad y profesionalismo. Fantastic Trip with Untold Japan Travel AgencyWe had the best time ever on our Japan trip in May 2024, thanks to Untold Japan travel agency! Our group of five, including a 4-year-old, had different needs and schedules, but they managed to make everyone happy.Our tour guide, Lily, was amazing. We had her with us all the time. She’s a native English speaker and also fluent in Japanese, which was incredibly helpful. :) We worked with her three months before our trip to plan everything, and she organized it all perfectly—private transfers, trains, museums, and more.We had some awesome experiences like dining with geishas, calligraphy classes, cooking classes, and sake tasting. Even though everything was planned out, we made a few changes during our stay, and Lily was super flexible and accommodating. Our son absolutely loved her!We visited Tokyo, Hakone, Kyoto, and Osaka, and every place was fantastic. The restaurants and hotels recommended by the agency were all great too. We're already thinking about our next trip to Japan, and we'll definitely book with Untold Japan again.
Our ten-day, five-city exploration of Japan with Untold Japan was filled with exclusive access, history, exposure to real-life Japanese culture, delicious food, and a genius combo of urban and natural settings. We loved our guide, Lily Bray, and cannot imagine having visited Japan without her.
We are a family of 4, with different interests, and obviously not the easiest clients. Untold Japan accommodated all our requests, gave expert advise, and helped to produce an itinerary that everyone was happy with.Our guide, Lily, is a star! I would give her 6 stars if I could. Extremely professional, knowledgeable, very helpful, patient, understanding, thinks on her feet, and very good with kids.Lily went above and beyond for my family. She was more than a tour guide. She literally saved my son's life. My son suffered from an asthma attack in Okinawa, and we were rejected by pharmacies and hospitals that night because we don't have a Japanese insurance. We didn't disturb Lily that night because it was late, but when she found out about it in the morning, she quickly intervened and persuaded a clinic to see us. Lily helped with everything until my son got the care he needed. We are very grateful to Lily.Our itinerary had to change and she still managed to come up with good ideas for my teenager that day. Our daughter had a blast, my son felt better and got his meds, my husband and I had our peace of mind. Lily is a gem.Thanks, Untold Japan. We wish you success!

We had an amazing 10-day family trip with Untold Japan, and it was such a great introduction to Japan for a first visit. The itinerary had a really nice balance of city life, nature, culture, and food, and it honestly felt like we experienced and learned so much in just 10 days without it feeling too rushed.One of the highlights was having access to unique and curated experiences that we likely wouldn’t have been able to discover or arrange on our own. Thanks to Untold Japan’s network and local connections, the trip felt much more personal, authentic, and special than a typical tour.A special thank you to Satoshi, our guide, who was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating throughout the trip. He was also very detail-oriented and thoughtful, from paying attention to our dietary needs to the small touches for my birthday that made the experience feel extra special.Everything was handled very smoothly, and we really appreciated how open the team was to feedback and flexibility along the way. Overall it was a memorable and very well-organized trip that we’d definitely recommend to people looking for a meaningful way to discover Japan.
