We had a wonderful experience with Portraiture by Surabhi during our family photoshoot among the sakura in Tokyo. Despite it being peak sakura season, she found a beautiful location that wasn’t too busy, which made the whole experience feel calm and intimate.From the start, she created such a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. What stood out most was how quickly my kids warmed up to her. My eldest daughter even ended up walking around holding her hand, which says everything about how kind and approachable she is.During the shoot, Surabhi gave us helpful direction for posing while still allowing things to feel natural. She even helped us recreate a special photo from when our children were younger, which meant so much to us.The final photos are beautiful. The lighting and coloring are absolutely stunning, and she captured so many genuine, candid moments. Photographing young children who don’t want to sit still is no easy task, but she was incredibly patient and worked so well with them.We’re so grateful to have these memories captured so thoughtfully, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer.
My fiance and I recently got engaged and planned to visit Japan for the first time, so we decided to book our first photography session to capture the moment. We are so glad we got to experience this with Surabhi. She was very clear in her instructions/prompts and made us feel comfortable and relaxed. Despite us only booking an hour session and working against large crowds and extremely high winds that day, Surabhi was still able to capture so many varieties of beautiful moments. This demonstrated how much of an expert she truly is. She even went above and beyond our expectations. I never would've imagined that we were also going to get Sakuras in our photoshoot since it was only early March, and we hardly saw any blooming, but she knew that there was some blooming nearby and wanted to help us capture it during our shoot. We are so in awe of her work and professionalism.
I had planned to propose at Mt. Fuji for a long time now and finding a local photographer to capture the special moment was one of the hardest decisions for me. I'm so happy I came across Surabhi and it was probably one of the best decisions I've made 🥰Surabhi was amazing to work with, answered any and every question I had, and gave me the confidence going into the proposal. Knowing how nervous I was proposing in a foreign country, she continued to reassure and update me throughout my trip. I had planned a sunrise proposal at Lake Kawaguchiko, with Mt. Fuji in the background. Surabhi knew the perfect spots with the perfect shot and no crowding! She even went earlier to scope out the area ☺️The pictures turned out beautifully and was everything I wished for. It shows how experienced Surabhi is as a photographer! I couldn't have asked for anyone better. It was such a wonderful experience working with Surabhi as our photographer. You can immediately tell how experienced she is and how much she truly loves what she does.We had our engagement photoshoot at Lake Kawaguchiko. Due to crowded buses we arrived later than planned, but despite that, she helped with providing solutions and after captured an incredible number of beautiful moments!!The photos are incredible, it’s amazing how much happiness and emotion she managed to capture ❤️Everyone who has seen them is blown away by how beautiful they are. Surabhi was so fun to work with for the entire experience! This was a surprise proposal. Surabhi coordinated so well with me from when I first reached out, throughout the coming weeks, when we got to Japan and when we got to the proposal site. In the initial conversations as well, we were able to pick the PERFECT spot for the proposal. I wanted something that captured the essence of Japan while not having to deal with the crowds at popular tourist areas. Nezu Shrine checked all the boxes! She was so friendly and professional, we knew exactly what we needed to do for our poses, and she was so happy for us it really touched our hearts. That’s what you’re going to get with Surabhi, a super genuine person that cares on all fronts from the photography standpoint as well as getting to know you. We honestly just had a great time talking with her as we did our photo shoot because she has such a warm presence.As for the photos, INCREDIBLE. When looking on google, I had an idea of what I wanted the photos to look like, and Surabhi’s work stuck out to me. Her style is just so genuine and authentic, just like her, and it shows in her photos. She captured everything that I was looking for in the photos we received and more.Both my now fiancée and I can’t thank Surabhi enough for all this. This special day is something we will never forget!

From the moment we received our gallery, we couldn't stop looking through every single image – she truly exceeded all our expectations.Our photoshoot took place at Shinjuku Gyoen in Tokyo, and despite the unpredictable weather with rain coming and going, Surabhi's talent really shone through. She has an incredible eye for finding the perfect spots and angles, and somehow turned what could have been challenging conditions into magical, atmospheric shots. Even when unexpected moments arose, she adapted seamlessly and made everything work beautifully. Her creativity and problem-solving skills are truly exceptional.Beyond her technical skills, what made the experience so memorable was how fun and comfortable Surabhi made everything feel. She has such a warm, easygoing personality that we forgot we were even being photographed – we were just enjoying ourselves! The entire process was effortless and genuinely enjoyable.I also have to mention how professional and helpful she was throughout the entire experience. From my initial Zoom planning session where she patiently answered all my questions and helped me prepare, to the thoughtful follow-up after the shoot, Surabhi's communication and attention to detail were outstanding. She made sure we felt supported every step of the way.When we shared our photos with friends and family, the response was overwhelming – so many people told us these were some of the most beautiful photos they'd ever seen! We absolutely cannot wait to visit Japan again so we can schedule another session with Surabhi.
