Thank you Kyoko San! You are so friendly and so nice to me and my friend, I am so happy I got to know you! I think we chatted for 1.5hrs haha! I can’t wait to take a picture of the owl pottery I bought from you when I return back to Singapore. It is such a rare find and your store is truly a gem, plus your amazing personality just makes the whole store radiates with joy and warmth. I will definitely come back again, you make me love Temmabashi area more and more, thank you very much!To the future visitors: you must come! From 700 yen cute owl gift to the most rare owl artwork done by 90+ years old artist, Kyoko San has a good selection of beautiful artworks/artefacts to appreciate and hopefully to be collected. I spent a long time here :)

雑貨屋さんと思いたまたま立ち寄りました。店主の方が本当に良くしてくださり、お誕生日プレゼントで予算これぐらいで…とお伝えするといくつか候補を見繕ってくださり、ご自身の経歴や、私の悩み事も聞いてくださったり接客以上のものをもらいました。縁を大事にしている、という店主。雑貨屋というよりはセレクトショップやアンティークといった感じです。ふくろうグッズだらけでとても目が楽しかったです♪また伺いたいです。

Kyoko is an absolutely wonderful and special person, with a heart of gold. I walked into her shop drawn by the owls (a totem animal that my mom has been collecting for 44 years) and she welcomed me and my dear friend Satoko with endless kindness and warmth. Her shop is truly a place for the soul: every animal-themed item is beautiful, carefully chosen, and made with love. Spending time with her felt like pure sweetness for my heart. I will never forget our meeting, and I hope to bring my mom to meet you one day.
