I found this lovely little cafe while hiking from Kyoto to Biwako on Sunday.It is tucked away in a quiet residential area, with a small front yard opened up as a cafe. Two elderly ladies and their daughter, who is a baker, run it only for a few hours on Sundays during spring and autumn.It felt like visiting a grandmother’s house in the countryside. Warm, peaceful, and very special.The homemade bread and desserts were delicious, and the coffee and cafe latte were absolutely lovely. Everything was only 500 yen, which felt very generous.I would love to come back again, just to sit here on a quiet Sunday afternoon.
