Amazing experience!Only half of my group wanted to bike up the mountain to see Katsuoji so we rented bikes without a tour.Jonathon was very kind and knowledgeable about the route with detailed description of the route we needed to take and the laws of biking in Japan. We were even provided with an extra inner tube and repair kit for our bikes which we very much appreciated.The e-bikes themselves were well maintained and more than powerful enough to make the ride comfortable with a bit of a sweat on a moderately warm day.We did go off track (our fault) and ended up in Minoh park where bikes are not allowed so be warned when mapping to Katsouji that Google Maps led us astray.Once we were back on the proper route the ride was beautiful and stopping at the waterfall was absolutely stunning.After finishing touring Katsuoji the ride down was exhilarating, be warned that inexperienced/ overconfident riders should be carful on the long steep downhills can be dangerous. There are very sharp and rapid turned and passing in the opposing lanes is very common.Highly recommend renting these bikes to explore the mountain and even around the suburban area near the base of the mountain which was extremely pleasant!

Enjoyed my bike tour to Katsuoji and Minoh Falls very much. This is a great way to escape the hustle and bustle of the main city, to explore the beautiful natural sights and rich culture of Osaka. Jonathan is a knowledgeable and thoughtful guide, who helped me appreciate the history and culture of the area much more. Even the lunch spot he recommended was a local gem! Thank you!
Bellissima esperienza con la guida Jonathan, bravo, simpatico e preparato, che parla benissimo sia l’inglese che il giapponese. Percorso da fare con la bici elettrica, semplice per tutti, che parte dal paesino di Minoh, molto molto carino, per arrivare nei boschi. Prima la bellissima cascata e poi il meraviglioso tempio in cima alla montagna. Consigliatissimo!!!
Our e-bike tour with Jonathan to Minoh Falls and Katsuo-ji Temple was one of the best experiences of our trip to Japan! The route was low to medium difficulty, but Jonathan made everything easy and enjoyable, with perfect pacing and relaxing breaks along the way.He guided us through every stop with detailed explanations, especially at the temple, sharing history and local culture with real passion. This is a unique and safe way to experience nature and authentic local life away from crowded tourist spots.He also recommended an incredible local place for curry rice run by the sweetest lady, absolutely delicious and authentic! Johnathan was a fantastic guide. The trip up to Katsuoji on the bikes was a great way to see the stunning scenery whilst also avoiding the crowds of the buses.The electric bikes make it a breeze to get up the mountain. If you’ve never used one before don’t worry as Johnathan gives you a full breakdown of how they work and you quickly get to grips with them. They’re a blast!You get to find out all about the temple, the deities and the customs at each of the shrines. Johnathan even translated our fortunes for us. You get plenty of time for photo shops in both the temple and falls, as well as the chance to stop and admire the views on the bike ride up and down.If you’ve never used want a change of pace from Osaka this is a must! Would 100% recommend.
This is an easy and GORGEOUS ride through the mountains north of Osaka City.Katsuoji Temple, Mino Waterfall, quiet mountain roads and forests, and great city views are things to look forward to. You might even see monkeys if you're lucky

最高の電動自転車で、スイスイと漕げました。休憩も適時とってくれたので、まったくムリなく上まで行けました。真夏の屋外サイクリングでしたが、標高が上がってくると暑さも和らぎました。一番癒されたのは、山の美味しい空気でした。下山後も疲れはゼロ、楽しい体験となりました。
