Golf in Japan organized an amazing outing at Seta North golf course, close to Kyoto. Highly recommend this experience as the course is beautiful as well as the facilities. It was wonderful having air-conditioning in the automated golf cart and our caddy Mr. Tanaka was excellent.
Really really good experience for the first time I golf in Japan.The communication is smooth, efficient and the golf partner is providing a really good services also.I am really recommend to those who want to try to golf in Japan in the future. Travelling from California via Sweden to Japan, we used Golf In Japan to book two rounds of golf in the Kyoto area, and we are super happy. When we arrived at each course everything was set up and we were expected, no issues at all. The information when booking and before arrival was clear and made us very comfortable that things would work out, which they totally did.From a golf perspective we can highly recommend Meishin Yokaichi Country Club, about an hour outside Kyoto. We had a rental car so transportation was no problem, but even without a rental car we would say the club and the course is worth the trip. The course was truly great, both condition and layout, and the reception from the club very friendly. A top notch country club experience! (Three pictures attached)The second course, Kyoto Ohara Public Course, was beautifully located in the mountains outside Kyoto, and quite an experience! The course is extremely hilly and many shots are blind, making it challenging, especially playing the course only once. Fairways and greens were in very good condition, and the lunch was excellent! (Two pictures attached)I have seen some reviews and questions about the "self driving carts/buggies". Very interesting and a little weird, but once you get used to them it works pretty well. They follow the cart path and you don't touch any controls other than the start/stop button in the cart or on the remote control you use to move the cart forward when you are in the fairway or on the green.Thank you Golf In Japan, five stars for sure!
Golf in Japan got our group on 2 awesome courses. Okinawa Country club was a challenging course with awesome views and Hakone Kurakake golf course with views of Mount Fuji was a bucket list trip.GIJ organised clubs and tee times that worked well for us.Everything was taken care of, even calling ahead to let the course know we were running late due to traffic.I would recommend using and will be using them again on our next trip.Thank golf in japan for everything.Regards,Stuart
My first experience playing golf in Japan was absolutely seamless. The Golf in Japan team was incredibly responsive and accommodating in helping coordinate a date that fit my schedule.My golf partner for the day, Hiroko-san, picked me up directly from my hotel and expertly guided me through the entire experience at Manna Country Club. Her knowledge of Japanese golf customs, course etiquette, and how to make the most of the day was invaluable and truly elevated the experience.From transportation and communication to navigating the unique traditions of golf in Japan, everything was handled professionally and thoughtfully. I would highly recommend Golf in Japan to anyone looking for an authentic and stress-free golf experience in Japan.
First time using Golf in Japan, I was skeptical at first after seeing some negative reviews but decided to give it a shot. Service was fantastic, answered all my questions diligently and even sent reminders on Japan golf etiquette and other useful tips! Will definitely use them again for my next golf trip in Japan!
My group of 3 golfers with spouses from Singapore were on a self drive sightseeings cum golfing holiday in Kyushu from 6 to 16 April 2026. In view of anticipated language and communication hitches with the golf course bookings in Japan we decided to engage Golf-In-Japan agent to arrange all the golf courses bookings. The Agent also helped to provide choices of golf courses for our selection.Having completed our golf tour, we were very pleased with services rendered by the Agent at a service fee of 15 % and the prompt assistances provided by the Agent in making several last minutes requests for tee time changes. The Agent also helped to inform the golf club when we could not arrive in time for tee off in view of raining weather !Overall, we were extremely pleased and satisfied with dedication of all the staff in Golf In Japan who so promptly responded to our numerous queries and requests for services.
