Matsubayasaryoの特徴
美しい内装と静かな雰囲気で、優雅な抹茶体験が楽しめるティーハウスです。
抹茶ラテは氷なしで提供され、滑らかな口当たりが特徴の一杯です。
残念ながら、提供される抹茶は強く甘く、純粋な味わいを求める方には不向きです。
This place feels unique with an interesting concept and a calming atmosphere. We had 2 drinks and 2 desserts each. I loved the forest soda the most and the matcha latte. Matcha tiramisu was a bit sweet and “whipped creamy” for me, but the strawberry was nice. Service was super nice!
Chanced upon Matsubayasaryo when we were looking for a matcha cafe in Omote-sando and saw this highly rated, with some reviews even saying "life-changing".We had a matcha latte (cold), a hojicha (hot) and the truffle cheese cookie. 2/3 were hits and although not life-changing, were definitely quite an experience.The cold matcha latte was served in a fancy glass but that's not the surprising thing. What surprised us was how smooth the matcha latte was and how it kept the cold so well (ok the tea house was pretty cold), AND they did not serve it with ice which prevented the matcha latte from being diluted, so really is a must-order. The only downside? It is quite pricey for matcha latte, going at 1,870yen (2025).Truffle cheese cookie was surprising not be how strong the truffle was but rather how easy-going the truffle scent was. Didn't hit in the nose but rather just smoothly as part of the cookie. For the price, really quite expensive (700+ yen in 2025) but for the experience, definitely.Hojicha (hot) was just straight up disappointing. Might just be me, not knowing how to appreciate hojicha but that cup tasted so sweet and so lacking of the earthy flavor that it reminded me more of a hot cup of ovaltine/horlicks and not something I would pay 1,200+ yen for.Not sure which part of their lives changed for some of the reviewers.
Das Café selbst ist wirklich wunderschön – sehr stilvoll eingerichtet, mit einer ruhigen Atmosphäre, die perfekt zu einem hochwertigen Matcha oder auch Tee Erlebnis passt. Ich habe mich sehr darauf gefreut, hier einen Matcha zu genießen.Leider war ich von der Zubereitung enttäuscht: Der Matcha war bereits gesüßt, und zwar extrem stark – so sehr, dass er für mich eher wie ein geschmolzenes Matcha-Eis schmeckte. Das war nicht das, was ich erwartet hatte, und ich konnte ihn leider nicht trinken. Auf der Karte wird nicht erwähnt, dass der Matcha gesüßt serviert wird, was für ein Café dieser Klasse wirklich schade ist.Normalerweise frage ich in Tokio immer nach, ob der Matcha gesüßt ist – diesmal habe ich es nicht getan, weil ich davon ausging, dass ein Café mit diesem Anspruch reinen Matcha serviert. Für mich war es daher eine große Enttäuschung.✨ Fazit: Ein wundervoller Ort mit viel Potenzial, aber wer authentischen, ungesüßten Matcha sucht, ist hier falsch.The café itself is truly beautiful – elegant design and a calm atmosphere that feels perfect for enjoying high-quality matcha. 日曜15時前に昼間に目の前を通って気になったのでふらっと入ったところ抹茶ラテ1杯1870円。雰囲気はよいが味はそこそこ、抹茶ラテもあまり期待してたような濃い抹茶ではない。中は真っ暗で盆栽があり、趣はある。店員も作務衣のようなものを着ており、海外の人が想像する伝統的な雰囲気を味わえるという店で外国人ウケはよさそう。
オシャレ過ぎてもはやオッサンの理解を超えました笑。ここでお茶しても癒されないやつがいたとしたらもはやその人には安息の地など無いと言えよう。そんなかんじでございます。
