We had a wonderful bauble making workshop with Victoria and now have the most beautiful souvenir from our Japan trip for our tree. The private workshop included my children aged 10 and 8, who loved it. Victoria helped and encouraged them, a lovely relaxing setting in Shimokitazawa that we enjoyed exploring after
I booked a private session for my wife and son a few months in advance. We arrived a few minutes early and Victoria was already setup and ready to go. She was a great teacher and really helped us through the process. It was honestly one of my favorite parts of my trip. I highly recommend giving it a try. Also bring some extra cash with you because her studio has as other art for sale that you can purchase while you are there.

My friends and I had such a wonderful time at Studio Biku with Victoria during our creative workshops in Shimokitazawa last week. Her knowledge of kimono and traditional Japanese crafts is impressive, and she’s a warm, patient teacher with a calming presence. We also loved the walking tour, exploring hidden shopping gems with a local made the experience extra special. Victoria’s beautiful studio is a must-visit for anyone looking for unique, handmade gifts or wanting to pause for a craft workshop during a visit to Tokyo.
This little studio in Shimokitazawa is a little corner of creativity and sunlight in Tokyo. Calming but feels like a cuddle from the creative community.Victoria makes sure her guests and class participants never feel rushed and everyone is made to feel welcome right away. Highly recommend.
A quiet, tranquil creatives space. Victoria is very supportive of the creatives community and always helpful and kind.
Love Victoria’s designs and workshops! Her handmade Christmas tree decorations come out every year, and the embroidery workshop I tried gave me some great ideas to try! Excited to join again in future.
