Kanehara-san was lovely from start to finish. She has entered multiple competitions for nail artwork (and won some!) and her attention to detail for her craft really shows. My gel manicure was perfect.She speaks great English as well to complement my poor Japanese, and her studio is on the 2nd floor of the Ana Intercontinental Hotel. Be sure to check ahead if she has availability as it’s just her in the studio! She’s responsive via email and phone.Thank you so much again!
As a treat, I booked a pedicure while on vacation. It was wonderful! I also added a red light therapy facial treatment. I got gel polish, a foot bath, a foot massage, and art work on my big toes! The big cozy chair was amazing! I honestly did not feel like I paid anymore for this than I do in the US. It was well worth the cost!
Excellent service, Ms Mitsue is an awarded nail artist and expert, fantastic at what she does. I had full manicure done (~7,500¥), and then Shellac gel polish (~8,500¥). I wanted natural, sophisticated, glass effect look and that is exactly what I got in consultation with Ms Mitsue. Extremely pleasant experience, Ms Mitsue and I had a great chat while doing my nails. Hopefully I will be back some time in the future. All recommendations.

It was a mere coincidence that I discovered this nail salon inside Ana Intercontinental Tokyo when we stayed there in August 2025. I had manicure, and I was very happy with the result. The nail technician was very pleasant, thorough and skillful. I would highly recommend her.
