A place for Africa in Tokyo. “Space UN”certainly is a unique intercultural space, focused on presenting a carefully curated selection of the rich cultural life, art and crafts from the large variety of 52 African nations.Beside being a gallery, presenting contemporary African artists, it also serves as a room for workshops, screenings, lectures & discussions.Just now I came out of a documentary film showing the history of “wax print” (textiles) which are considered “African”, but indeed have their origins in Indonesia …Beautiful architecture, very nice people & someting different to discover every visit !

Espace très petit (composé d'une seule salle où sont exposées les oeuvres).L'exposition actuelle (We don't recall a horizon, Richard Mwizerwa) ne présentait aucune explication, ce qui est dommage car les oeuvres sont intrigantes.Cependant je ne peux pas mettre moins de 4 étoiles car c'est un lieu avec beaucoup de potentiel
