Hidden Gem for Stargazers - Perfect Blend of Nature and ComfortThis campground exceeded all expectations! I came searching for dark skies (Bortle 1!) for astrophotography and discovered so much more.The Setting:Nestled by a pristine lake surrounded by mountains, it feels like camping in the Bavarian Alps with the Japanese hospitality. The autumn colors are spectacular, and early mornings reward you with a mirror-perfect lake surface that's absolutely breathtaking.Facilities (5/5):Spotlessly clean facilities with hotel-quality showersCozy log cabin-style cafe with WiFi and good phone signalWell-maintained picnic areas with thoughtful layoutsRespectful, clean and quiet atmosphereThe Cafe:A perfect remote work spot by day! They serve excellent coffee and homemade venison sausage (made by the owner's husband). Live jazz music in the cafe added to the ambiance but not loud enough that it disturbs the campsite.For Stargazers:The darkest skies I've experienced near any accessible location. Vega is almost blindingly bright here! I could see the red airglow with naked eyes - a first for me. Perfect for astrophotography.Tips:Wake early for the still lake reflectionsAutumn is ideal for fall colorsExplore the surrounding trails for spectacular viewsThe drive here is scenic and relaxingThis has become my new favorite hideaway. Highly recommended for anyone seeking pristine nature with creature comforts!
こんな素敵な建物ができたんですね。登山やキャンプに興味のない方でも、ここが目的地でも良いくらい。wifiあり、地元の食材が使われたカレーやコーヒーなど飲食もできます。美味しい。取り扱ってるグッズもかわいいのに機能的。ぜひ足を伸ばしてもらいたい場所です。

この春にオープンしたカフェでキャンプ場の受付も兼ねているメニューは少ないけど地産地消に力を入れている感じですね。オンネトーは多くの観光客が展望デッキより奥には来ないので看板などで告知はしているけど相当営業が大変だと思う。アウトドアメーカーは撤退したが地元の人が手を挙げたらしいので頑張って欲しい。
シャワー5分300円で使用出来ますドライヤーは時間なし楽天の電波もフルに4本有ります。
お洒落なカフェになっていて、ソフトクリームやカレーが食べられます。
