An absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The tea master and owner were incredibly welcoming — they took the time to walk us through every aspect of the ceremony with genuine warmth and enthusiasm, making it feel educational without ever losing the magic of the moment.Dressing in the kimonos was such a fun and memorable touch that really completed the experience. We left feeling like we'd gotten a true window into Japanese culture, not just a tourist activity. Highly recommend to anyone visiting — don't skip this one!

Une superbe cérémonie du thé.Keiko et Chika sont d'un accueil et d'une gentillesse remarquables.Le thé est très bon et les kimonos sont également magnifiques. Nous avons appris beaucoup de choses, dans un cadre authentique.Un immense merci pour ce souvenir exceptionnel ! 🍵Céline & Warren
Quelle belle expérience ! Nous avons été ravis d’avoir pu participer à la cérémonie du thé traditionnelle habillés en kimono. Nous étions que deux et ce fût un vrai moment d’échanges et d’apprentissage des valeurs japonaises. Nous reviendrons lors d’un prochain voyage, je recommande vivement cette expérience.
東山の、観光客でごった返す茶屋街周辺からちょっと外れた、人通りの少ない狭い路地を入ったところにあるお店。自然食です。落ち着いた店内で、町屋塾という名の通りイベントをいろいろ開催しているようです。
茶の湯と和しぐさ体験60分1500円要予約。

Chiko and tea master Keiko are skilled women who guided us through the experience and immersed us in every aspect of it. From getting dressed and learning how to move around the room to knowing what to say and when to say it.素晴らしい経験をありがとうございました！🙏🏾💗
