I studied with Sara - san and would definitely recommend her as a teacher. She really gives her full effort in every lesson and explains everything in a clear and accessible way. The classes always felt comfortable and supportive.
I’ve had a really great experience with Toranomon Language School. My Japanese has improved significantly in a relatively short period of time — not just in terms of vocabulary, but also in confidence and sentence structure. I can clearly feel the progress in how I speak and think in Japanese. What really stands out is how international and professional the environment is. The teachers speak excellent English, which makes explanations very clear and efficient, especially when dealing with more complex grammar or nuances. At the same time, they are incredibly thoughtful and attentive to each student’s needs. The learning experience feels very personalized rather than standardized.A special thank you to Ryoko-san and Kimoto-san — both are not only great teachers but also very kind, patient, and supportive. They make the classes engaging and comfortable, which really helps with speaking more confidently.I would highly recommend this school to anyone serious about improving their Japanese in a supportive and international environment.
I had a wonderful time learning Japanese at TLS. Both Ryoko and Yuri were very kind and knowledgeable instructors. I liked how their approach emphasized topics that are useful and then incorporated the grammar into them. In class, they emphasized listening and speaking so my vocabulary, comprehension, and sentence structure improved because I was using it and not just learning snippets from a book. I found myself many times revising my previous understanding of something with insights that I gained during class. My group classmate was also a lot of fun and motivated. This gave us more things to talk about and enjoy (in Japanese).
短い期間でしたが、被教育者のニーズに応じて、柔軟に計画された教育プログラムでした。おかげさまでレッスンを楽しむことができました。ありがとうございました。
