I did a dog keychain workshop (English friendly) with my mother here and we had a blast!! The instructor Junko was so sweet, informative and patient with us. The combination of this unique experience paired with such an amazing instructor made this a highlight of my trip in Tokyo!I booked through her site and even before the workshop, she made sketches of my dogs! When we got there, she had everything set up. She taught us the proper techniques for using the tufting gun and let us practice.We then got to tufting parts of the dogs with different yarn colors. Then we moved on to using the punch tool to finish off. I loved how the mirror keychains turned out.And didn’t even expect this, but she also took amazing pictures of my mother and me doing this workshop! My mother LOVED , LOVED, LOVED the workshop lol she was raving about it the entire train ride back.If you’re looking for a fun & unique crafting workshop in Japan, I highly recommend this!!

junko was amazing - super available, kind, flexible, accommodating to any needs, requests, or last minute changes! and she is a great teacher who was kind enough to do the workshop for us in english! our family had a really fun time doing the bag workshop and learning how to tuft - don't be scared if you're a beginner, you are in great hands and have everything you need for the whole process! the studio is super cute, tidy, well located, and well stocked. we loved spending our morning there!! plus, a huge bonus - the staff also helps you out by making photos and process videos of you working, so you can keep your hands free and focus on trying out tufting. thank you junko for being such a kind and patient teacher! we love our super cute bags 💚
