It is almost empty unlike any other SBI. The only problem I faced was to find the branch. In the Tokyo Tatemono building, use the elevator for the 4th floor. At the left you can see the branch. The whole building is huge and the name of the bank is written in Japanese. So, take a note and you will be fine.
I don't know why there are some negative reviews. But for me it was an excellent service. My NRE account has been created in only 1 hour. Very hard working and polite person. Working like normal Japanese bank. Overwhelming response.

Very fast soo easy for transfer money from Japan to india in 30 min the staff being soo nice i suggest everybody if u wanna transfer money from japan to india visit state bank of India branch tokyo
They take 2000yen as commission to send money India in any Indian bank account + conversion charge they take based on everyday rate. Like today yen is 0.63 so they give 0.62
