Really loved staying here. I stayed 2 weeks in the Japanese room downstairs and it was lovely. I was working remotely, the internet is very good too. Ojima is a quiet part of the city easily accessible by metro. Everyone is super nice 😄
Highly recommended place to stay at if you're looking to stay away from the busy city while exploring Tokyo via train. Host is super-friendly and helpful. Quiet place to stay with a place to shower and do laundry if needed. Will stay again!
Had a great time! The traditional room is very confortable, the house is very clean and the neighbourhood quiet. It can get cold but the heating helps a lot. Dat is an awesome guy and always available to help. I’ll stay there again!
급하게 도쿄 여행을 계획하고 찾던 중 가격과 도쿄와의 거리를 고려해서 괜찮은 곳이라는 생각에 5박6일 동안의 숙소로 결정했습니다. 주택가라서 밤에는 지나다니는 사람이 없지만 깔끔하고 역도 나름 가까워서 좋아요. 저는 2충의 western room을 골랐습니다. 다다미가 익숙치 않은 사람이라면 이 방을 추천해요. 호스트도 굉장히 친절하시고 응답도 굉장히 빨랐어요!이번의 경험은 정말 정말 감사했습니다…🥰 친절에 감사하고 후일 도쿄 방문하게 된다면 또 방문 할 의향이 있습니다.
Our stay at Dat's was absolutely wonderful! Dat is such an attentive, personable, and responsive host. He took good care of us and helped us adjust to Tokyo (and Japan itself, as we headed to Dat's for our first night in the country.)Him and his son gave us a warm welcome, which started our trip off right. Dat was also a lifesaver by helping us with luggage forwarding!The futons were nice and comfy, much to my enjoyment and relief after very active days. The bath, shower, and washer/dryer were great, too.The neighborhood is nice, calm, and quiet, with good station access. It's a nice reprieve from the craziness of central Tokyo.My partner and I would highly recommend Dat's House as a down to earth and cozy choice for a Tokyo stay!PS, the izakaya that Dat recommends is so lovely! We highly recommend visiting them as well :)
I had a wonderful 3 night stay at Dat’s place during my time in Tokyo. I stayed in the traditional room upstairs and had a super comfortable stay! From the moment I arrived to the moment I left, I was greeted and attended to with great care. The accommodation was spotless and was everything I needed. A huge highlight for me was the shower room. I love the Japanese style bathroom, so it certainly was a treat. I would happily stay here again next time I am in the Tokyo area!
I had a wonderful time with Dat and his family. I stayed for two weeks, and during that time, the room truly became a little home for me. The area is quiet and has lovely spots to relax, such as the nearby canal. The subway takes you quickly to all the important places in the city. Even though it’s not right in the centre, the location was just perfect for me. The accommodation is extremely well maintained, and Dat is an incredibly attentive host who always responded to my questions immediately. I’m going to miss Tokyo a little!

周辺のオススメ
這次到東京4天，都住在這邊的榻榻米房。看評論這邊之前沒有來自台灣的房客所以想說試試看。房間乾淨，周遭環境也很安靜，出門搭乘地鐵也相當方便。房東人很好，相當推薦想要靠近東京鬧區但住宿要安靜的房客。如果下次還來東京，那我一定還會選擇這邊。
