Located outside Exit A3b of 一之江駅 Ichinoe Station on the Shinjuku Subway Line, on a round park in the middle of the bus boarding area is a statue titled 「希望(乙女の像)」"Kibō (otome no zō)" “Aspiration” (statue of maidens) by 高橋剛 Takahashi Gō erected in 1986.A pair of young ladies dressed in singlets and ballet shoes leaning toward each other and clasping their left hands, right feet pointed back. (mounted on a red-brown polished igneous rock base bearing the title)
