I stayed here on a weekend retreat with a total of 6 guests and it was fabulous! A large, spacious house with aircon, 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets, a large outdoor bbq area and relaxing deck. Quick drive to the beach. We had the catered option for the retreat and we were so well cared for and the food was really delicious. The fresh eggs everyday from the onsite chickens was an added bonus. Highly recommend this house if you are looking for a place to stay in this part of Chiba.
Be been to MiCasa 4 times now. I use it for business to run retreats and went with friends and my their daughter for my birthday. I just love it. Judy is a great host and the different people who stay there all get the family feeling going. Judy set up the barbecue for us and other guests, the kitchen is brilliant for dinner parties, the fire pit out back is so much fun until 10pm! They have a full gym now with yoga mats and weights, bikes and many other fun sporty things. The outdoor seating area is lovely and can be covered or not covered. My retreat guests love it - that welcoming feeling and the mix of sitting in the living room or doing physical activity is very popular with them. One of the best things is the beach - watching sun down over Chiba and playing in the waves is the perfect way to start the evening. Did I mention there are chickens too? And you can rent the whole house if you like!
Mi Casa Ichinomiya is a charming little hideaway in a part of Chiba that doesn't get explored often enough. The property is expansive with lots of rooms and a lot of recreational activities such as boardgames, BBQ and even an entertainment room with video games and karaoke.Our host was fantastic, an extremely kind woman who checked in on us from time to time but never felt overbearing. We love the overall vibe as it felt like we had a lot of independence to do what we want but we were also alongside someone who truly welcomed our stay.There's a lot to do in the area with great food and scenic spots. Can't recommend this any higher.PS. If you are in Ichinomiya, you NEED to stop by Happy Donut!
This Airbnb in Ichinomiya, Chiba, was absolutely perfect for our friend trip! The highlight for us was the theater room—it was incredibly spacious, and we had a blast singing karaoke together. The front yard BBQ setup was another fantastic feature, perfect for grilling and hanging out. My personal favorite spot, however, was the sunroom. It was so cozy and ideal for playing board games while relaxing. The location was also convenient, just a 10-minute drive to the beach. Overall, this place offered everything we needed for a memorable stay, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing getaway!
Highly recommend this “luxurious laid back” Chiba home for your next family, friend group or even biz retreat. Woke up to beautiful bird songs after nights of deep relaxation and fun inside and outside and on their lush deck. Oh, and the beach is minutes away! Refueled and ready to take on August in Tokyo!
Wonderful stay at mi casa Ichinomiya. A weekend retreat with a group of women, it was fun, welcoming, 6 of us comfortably accommodated. The outdoor seating is so relaxing, as was the twinkling lights which have laid back luxury. There’s a sun room perfect for work from home, writing, art or doing jigsaws, and the living room is spacious with a well stocked mini library. The dining room sat us comfortably and there’s loads of tea and coffee.A short drive to the popular Ichinomiya beach for a swim but n my sinks I loved the house itself. And the chickens.I just loved
Fantastic stay! Mi Casa Ichinomiya is an absolute gem! We had the most amazing retreat here, and it exceeded all of my expectations. The host is incredibly warm and welcoming, ensuring every detail was perfect for our stay. The highlight was the adorable little dog who made our experience even more delightful. If dogs aren't your thing, just let the owner know, and they'll accommodate your needs. This Airbnb offers a perfect blend of comfort and charm, making it an unforgettable getaway. Highly recommend!Highlights include the outside deck space, parking spaces, chickens, the incredibly social teacup poodle, close to beach (5-10 min drive) and so much more!

Unbelievable setup! The house is spacious, extremely well equipped, and has tons of things to do. Went there with my wife and two kids and we all had a blast. You have a great feel of nature, it’s close to the beach, and you can also do a great barbecue outside. Everything is new and well maintained. The kids loved getting fresh eggs from the chickens in the morning! It’s great to go with a group pf people of family which was my case. Cherry on the top of the cake is the home gym! Probably my favorite part of the house. Really cool to have a similar setup of a professional gym, but with the ability to workout when you want and with the view of the outside and the trees! Hosts are unbelievable and treat us extremely nice, making us feel right at home. Judy is one of the sweetest person to deal with! Absolutely recommend this for a weekend or a week trip if you want to relax, enjoy great food (local supermarket is massive and has the best sushi!) and spend some time with friends and family!
