Amazing experience. I stayed here for 2 months during a study abroad program. While I was staying on the top residence floors, I still was able to experience everything great the rest of the hotel had to offer. Mid century modern lobby and lounge area, kitchen in the lounge are, variety of music playing in the lobby from the music and turntable booth, cafe downstairs, art and music venues on the bottom floor of the hotel, this place has everything. Also the staff were so helpful and always accommodating. Students and those staying on the residents floors where even allowed to order online goods and essentials to the hotel during our stay which I feel would have been a tough ask for other hotels or accommodations, life savers.Just a few blocks from Shinjuku station, and a few blocks from Golden Guy, everything is so close by. 4 convenience stores within 1-2 blocks, and a back streets full of some of the best food and restaurants I’ve ever had.For the student residence, there was a laundry room, a kitchen, a dedicated room for trash and recycling, anything I could have asked for in what felt like a home away from home on the other side of the world.I can’t recommend WPU enough and urge anyone looking to stay in Shinjuku to stay here.
I stayed at WPU for five months as a student and really enjoyed my time there. The location is excellent, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The café downstairs is great and very convenient! I definitely recommend this place for students, as the rooms are cleaned weekly and include towel and sheet changes. Additionally, events are organized to help you meet other residents at WPU!
I stayed here for a few months for my exchange program, and it was in a great location. Many convenience stores, grocery stores, pharmacy's, etc. in the area. Having close access to Shinjuku Station is a plus. The bedroom was spacious and cleaned weekly, the kitchenette had everything I needed, and the laundry room had plenty of washers/dryers. The staff was friendly and welcoming and loved the events hosted for guests in the cafe. Would recommend WPU!
Location was perfect. Thoroughly enjoyed my 4-month stay here. The weekly cleaning service was perfect, thank you very much to the cleaning staff :D There were plenty of washers and dryers for us to use, and I never had to wait before using them. Common kitchen and kitchenette are always well mentioned. Grateful to have met so many new friends here. Everyone was so friendly, really glad that I chose WPU.
I stayed at WPU for about 5 months for my student exchange and it was the best decision ever! I met so many new friends from all around the world and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The room was great too!! it was cleaned every week and the security of the hotel made me feel so safe in Shinjuku. The hotel location was amazing too and very convenient to travel around. The residence support was great and also there were weekly get-togethers and events hosted by the team which i enjoyed so much. Thanks for the amazing host :)
From the moment I first step foot into WPU Shinjuku, I already knew that I was in good hands for my short term exchange in Tokyo. The diverse staff, from different walks, at the residence are always so accommodating for residents and you could tell and feel just by the daily interactions that the management really cares for their welfare (ex. memorizing your name for a more personal/friendly experience). The management puts in the effort to also create interactions and a support system for their residents through frequent events and online channels. In terms of facilities and services, it is well equipped with a kitchenettes, laundry rooms, and even vending machines. Room service is also done on a weekly basis (even housekeeping is very friendly). This is a prime location in the center of Tokyo, accessible by bus or train going to top universities, and especially if you want certain conveniences because konbinis, a pharmacy, and student-budget friendly restaurants are nearby. I had an amazing experience staying here and don't have any regrets.
I stayed at the WPU Shinjuku dorm for 2 months and my stay there was very convenient as it has an excellent location, 2 minutes walk from Shinjuku station and in the surrounding area there are several convenience stores, ATMs and many of the attractions of this neighborhood of Tokyo. Speaking of my stay in the complex, I have no complaints, the staff was always very friendly and approachable, plus they all speak English which makes communication much easier, the common areas such as the loungge, kitchen, kitchenette and laundry room were always clean and very well equipped. Based on my experience I highly recommend staying at WPU whether for a short or longer period of time.

周辺のオススメ
Erster Tag in Japan, erster Tag in Tokio, dann direkt Shinjuku - da ist WPÜ die beste Anlaufstelle gewesen. Mitarbeiter super freundlich, hilfsbereit und sprechen alle extrem gut Englisch. Die Lage unschlagbar ist zentral, 7/11, Apotheke, Bahnhof, alles sehr nah. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber ausreichend groß. Keine Aussicht möglich aber, das Hotel liegt halt direkt im Zentrum, ggü. eine Häuserwand. Waschküche war easy zu nutzen und preiswert. Das Verschicken von Koffern an der Rezeption zum nächsten Reiseort war in 3 Minuten erledigt. Insgesamt mega gut organisiert und sehr zufrieden.
