First off, the communication with the property owners has been amazing, starting when we first rented the property months before arrival, and all the way through our rental while we were in Japan. Very friendly, very knowledgeable and very personable.Everything you would need in the kitchen, is in the kitchen. You even have access to some basic spices for cooking, as well as some small snacks and several tea/coffee options. They did a great job of making you feel welcomed. The location was great. You honestly did not have to walk too far to get to anything in the Shinjuku area.One of the most important things when we travel are the beds. These beds were not as upscale as we are used to, but we had no problems laying down at night and falling fast asleep. The only reason this is not a 5 star review, is due to the lack of pictures/translations to help with the major things in the house. Yes, we can use a translation app to figure out how to operate the hot plate or the air conditioning, but it would have been way easier if there were pictures in a Welcome Book that many Air BnB’s have explaining how to operate the different electronics in the house. They have stickers up explaining some things, like what to do if you don’t have hot water, but nothing on how to use the bidet (which if you spent time in Japan, you know there are a ton of different controls for the difference bidets) or use the AC system. Having those pictures tends to make it a smoother stay.
Very happy we booked this place for our very first stay in Tokyo. The apartment has everything we need! Very comfortable for us to relax after a busy day exploring the city
Good spaced rooms with a great location to the station. Plenty of 24 hours konbini and food stores around. Definitely coming back if I’m staying the area.
