キッチンの近くにシャワーがあり、便利な配置です。
部屋の雰囲気が良く、居心地がとても良かったです。
I liked it. The room is nice, individual with all the basics. The only thing I thought was strange was the showers next to the kitchen. But didn't bother me.

I moved in here for school and lived in the dorm from the beginning of July until mid September. Super thin walls, you can easily hear people talking or moving around. Dirty bathrooms, there was always poop in, on, or around the toilet and sometimes blood too (yuck!). Seeing that every day honestly wore my spirits down. I felt like a Sim whose "room" was affected every time I walked into the bathroom lol. The bin would be overflowing with open bloody pads most of the time as well. Why not get a larger waste bin with an actual lid so people don't have to see this stuff? The bin was the size of a brick with no lid for like 10 girls who are usually all on their cycle at the same time. Just nasty. The cleaning lady was super super lovely and hardworking (shout-out to Tai!) always cleaning but no one can keep up with 30 other people's messes. Not her fault at all but the school should hire a dedicated person for cleaning because this lady is a student too so she's balancing homework and studies with the massive job of cleaning the place every day which is crazy. I was shocked that grown women don't clean up after themselves with hair in the shower and even heard that someone pooped in the shower here! Yikes. Kitchen was usually kind of smelly and I saw cockroaches a couple of times, but generally it was kept pretty clean for the amount of people living there and you do get your own cubby for your dishes and things and you get a small shower cubby as well to keep your personal shampoos and things. Just make sure you rotate things out frequently because mold grows very easily here in Japan. The showers are next to the kitchen which is weird but you do have a locking door there and can change and everything inside the stall. You can do your laundry in the washing machine I believe it's 200 yen and there is a dryer but I always hang dried my clothes outside to save money, there are clotheslines provided.School provided bedding is basically a thin blanket so I wouldn't even buy it tbh, but if you do you will probably still need to go buy a thicker futon upon arrival and different pillow like I did. I would just save your money and buy something nicer from Inageya next door upon arrival. They have cheap nice futons on the 2nd floor I got one for $50 USD and it was perfect. On a brighter note, the dorm is quite cheap (although honestly you can get your own apartment for maybe a tiny bit more money, like $50-100 a month, which is what I ended up doing), it is very centrally located with two major supermarkets right next door Inageya and Life, and Uguisudani train station like 6 minutes walk away, you get a fridge and AC unit, a desk, shoe stand, and wardrobe. The utility bill was pretty high though like 10-12,000 yen even though I kept things turned off when I left for the day, so keep that in mind. I met some really cool people here and it wasn't awful by any means, just not for me. I moved out as soon as I was able to because I just wanted my own bathroom and shower. Probably not the worst dorm out there but not the best either.
