My family and I recently visited Japan. As part of our trip, we took a cooking class for fun. Fortuitously, I came across Yuki’s studio, Yuzu Washoku Studio, and was impressed with her hospitality and teaching skill. My family and I were delighted with her Japanese Katsu Chicken Curry class, and we inquired about other classes that she offered. In speaking with Yuki, we were able to address food allergies and food preferences. Yuki was beyond accommodating and welcoming. She is a gracious host/teacher, and I would highly recommend her studio. Yuki is phenomenal and deserves more than a five out of five star rating.
Yuki is absolutely awesome!!! She is friendly, informative, and attentive to detail. She is an excellent cooking instructor and makes everything so enjoyable, relaxing, and seemingly easy. If you visit Tokyo, Japan this is a must do.
An unforgettable experience! I took a cooking class today at Yuzu Washoku Studio, and it was perfect. A huge thank you to Yuzu for her kindness, warm welcome, and for teaching me how to make delicious Ramen and Gyoza for the first time. I truly enjoyed myself. This is a beautiful memory I will never forget!
My family had a memorable experience learning to cook with Yuki. From the first time we met her to the end of the class, she was hospitable and patience with us. She made it look easy to prepare a Japanese homemade meal. Our family was the only students in the class so it made us felt like we had a private lesson. The techniques shown to us from how to cook rice, miso soup, salmon teriyaki, tonkatsu, etc. were helpful. We hope to be able to replicate these delicious dishes when we get home. It was nice to see a Japanese home in person. I highly recommend Yuki’s cooking class when you’re in Tokyo.
I highly, truly, wholeheartedly recommend Yuki-san's class!!Although I got lost while looking for her class, in the end I managed to find my way...One hour early 😅She is the sweetest teacher out there and she made it very fun. The 3 hours just fly by and you just want to stay with her and chit chat.Everything is simple and lovely, she's here to guide you from the beginning to the end, never letting you get overwhelmed and always assisting.May I also add : she gives you documentation to help as well, everything is perfectly organized so you can do it again once back home! She even spoiled me with candies at the end hahaha!! 🥰Please, do not hesitate to go book a class with her, you (and your belly) won't regret it ! It's way different than big studios classes. It feels so warm an cozy 🥰Pro tip : Do NOT eat before going. 🤣
I had the most wonderful time learning about traditional Japanese cooking during this class.Owner and operator chef “Yoki” is extremely knowledgeable about different styles of Japanese ingredients . She has spent extensive time in IUS as a student. She is well aware of differences in taste preferences for visitors from US.We prepared six courses. It was all hands on by myself with her guidance.We enjoyed the conversation about how we did it all during lunch eating what we prepared . She had already printed the notes from our cooking for me to take home.I highly recommend this experience to all who love cooking.Thanks you Yoki for a great experience.
I had a wonderful time cooking katsu curry with Yuki. Her english is great and she is a skilled chef who can adapt the curry to your preferences (for me it was a fish based curry). It was delicious and I feel confident to be able to make it at home too. Thank you Yuki!
