Have given this place a few tries but I have now lost all hope. First time I ordered a Pad Thai. Does not mention that it is spicy on the menu but it was very, very spicy. I was planning on sharing it with my kids but there was no way. It’s not tangy at all, does not taste like pad thai. More like a spicy saucy noodle dish. Another time I ordered red beef curry and spam fried rice. Again, neither dish mentions it is spicy on the menu. I asked if the fried rice was spicy because I ordered it for my children and they said it wasn’t. So the fried rice was actually good but the spam was spicy - like seriously? And they don’t even use the SPAM brand so it was a weird spicy luncheon meat that has a nail polish aftertaste. My kids couldn’t eat it. My red curry was also very spicy. Pad Thai and red curry are typically not spicy dishes so I’m just confused. Gets 2 stars for katsu curry.
Food is not consistent. Pad thai has been ordered several times in the past year, and each time it is different. This order is incredibly spicy with no actual pad thai sauce. Sometimes, it's made perfect or mediocre however, it was clearly sold as if a gaijin wouldn't know the difference.Other food items such as curry or burgers are not consistent in flavor.We like how convenient it is to have around, but we just ask for consistency in food.
I ordered at 11:45, I was told it would take 2 hours. I agreed to that. 3 1/2 hours later I got my food. I ordered them a few days ago, basically the same order of drunken noodles. The noodles the first time were good and also came later then expected. Today the same order came and is different from what I got the first time. I called and explained I got something different the first time, they told me I got pad Thai and they sent me a pad Thai. The pad Thai I just received is still not the noodles I got Friday… Long story short the noodles I got on Friday were the best meal I’ve had from them but I believe they were a mistake or something. Today has been chaos and nothing is really good. Also at no time did they say they would just refund me. I’d prefer that.
