Birth place of Nonomura Ninsei ( pottery artist ) : ** Birth Place of Nonomura Ninsei 野々村仁清の生誕地This is a birth place of old time famous Japanese pottery artist Nonomura Ninse. nonomura Ninsei is the one who established the foundation of potter art in Japan. Ninsei developed the art of using Japanese ceramics in Edo period ( 17th century ). He spent his training period in Tanba district and later opened his own workshop in front of Ninnaji in Omuro. This is why his name was converted in to Ninsei by taking a part of Ninnaji 仁 from original name of Kiyouemon.
