I don't understand why people are giving this place such bad reviews. I lived there for 3 years and it was actually a decent place. Alright, so, I will share my opinion and experiences regarding three important metrics when renting a room in a shared residence like this.First, the people living there: Everyone was always welcoming and very polite. The place had many different nationalities when I lived there, but the most prevalent was Japanese for sure. Every now and then there were dishes in the sink, but they were washed quickly enough. There weren't many people throwing parties or being roudy, and people would always say hello when meeting.Second, the management: They were sometimes strict with certain rules, like leaving your shoes unattended or not marking your food in the refrigerator, but they were mostly fair. Sometimes the place needed a deeper cleaning, the housekeepers did a good job but you could see some of the cleaning should be done with specific tools and machines. Rent was acceptable since utilities and internet were also included, and there are actually many amenities, small gym, theatre room, free printing, free coffee, free laundry room, study/work room, rooftop, etc. Management could improve, but it was acceptable, and I never actually experienced something that was bad.Third, The building itself: Rooms looked fine, they are always a bit small for my taste, the kitchen was spacious enough, with several fridges for the people in the rooms, the gym was small but had dumbbells, a weird machine to work on chest/back/legs, and a yoga tv(?). Bathrooms were mostly clean, showers were good, the bath was small but also good, the laundry room was also good, and the living room was pretty spacious. Yes, sometimes people worked in the living room, but they weren't loud and you could actually watch TV or talk there without issues.I had a nice time here and I would definitely recommend to anyone if they asked me how it was.
