A Home Away from Home,Apro Stay(Rental Apartment) In Den-enchofuhonchoI stayed here for 13 days, before I moved into permanent accommodation, and believe me, it felt like I never left home. The Apro Stay was so homely, peaceful, and comfortable, truly an ideal holiday home for us.This rental apartment had two floors. The ground floor included the dining room, kitchen, lavatory, bathroom, and laundry room. The upper floor consisted of a spacious bedroom with four large beds and a lavatory. Both floors were equipped with digital noise level monitoring devices, which I found very thoughtful. The rules and don’ts had already been clearly mentioned in the initial email, so we were well prepared.Personally, I love quiet and peaceful spaces, so this apartment suited me perfectly. The kitchenware was provided in just the right amount ,everything you could possibly need. There was a microwave oven, Toaster oven, rice cooker, and tea kettle. The garbage bins were neatly arranged and clearly labeled for burnable waste, plastics, bottles, and cans.Every essential item was thoughtfully placed ,from liquid dish soap, washing machine detergent, shampoo, conditioner, hand wash, and body wash to sponges, garbage bags, hair dryer, vacuum cleaner, broom, and even four to five umbrellas. When we arrived, water bottles were placed on the dining table along with a booklet of instructions, which explained everything clearly on the very first day. Any question we could think of had already been answered. In the bedroom lavatory, there was an interesting and considerate feature,a small machine that produces a running water sound when you press a button while seated. It helps cover personal sounds and saves you from any embarrassment if others are nearby. I found that incredibly thoughtful and empathetic. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, and even the apartment maintained a sense of calm. Once or twice, I could faintly hear a neighbor humming, that’s how serene the surroundings were. However, if you’re traveling with elderly people, please note there’s no wheelchair access, and the staircase leading to the bedroom is narrow. It can be a bit challenging when coming down to the kitchen, especially since there’s no railing, however it is manageable if you’re careful.Near the entrance, several pairs of clean house slippers were neatly arranged. You remove your shoes there, slip into the house slippers, and move around freely. The toilet had its own separate pair of slippers (in a different color) placed inside,a truly mindful and hygienic touch.Everything in this apartment reflected human friendly design and thoughtfulness. When all your needs are anticipated, and every question is Answered even before it could arise , All you are left with is Smile and satisfaction. This was my first rental apartment experience in Japan, and I enjoyed it immensely. I would definitely love to stay here again.Another interesting and seamless feature was the contactless entry system. The apartment key was kept in a locked box with a combination code provided at the time of booking. Similarly, the garbage disposal system was impressive ,segregated waste was to be left in a large steel box outside, which was spotless and also secured with a combination lock (the code was mentioned inside the apartment entrance). What an efficient and respectful way of living.During my stay, I not only appreciated the apartment but also absorbed the Japanese way of life ,their culture, discipline, and empathy.Living among them made me realize how meaningful life can be when people are considerate, when your welfare is silently taken care of, and when peace and respect are a shared value. Here, you matter ,your existence, your peace, your life, all matter, and others matter too.Such an empathetic way of living leaves a deep impression on the heart.
