街中から離れた隠れ家的な古民家です。
仕事でいとこ達と一週間ほどお世話になりました。まきこさんはとても優しく、田舎のおばあちゃん家に帰ってきたような、温かい気持ちで迎えてくださいました。仕事で夜から出る日も、必ず「行ってらっしゃい」と声をかけてくださり、とても嬉しかったです。宿は150年続く昔ながらの日本家屋で、とても風情があります。日本の方はもちろん、海外の方にとっても、日本の昔の家に泊まれる体験はとても魅力的だと思います。また、まきこさんお手製のローゼルを練り込んだ胡桃入りベーグルや、バタフライピーのゼリー、手作りプリン、お野菜なと、色々頂きました。どれもとても美味しく、なかなか普段は食べられないものばかりで、本当に嬉しかったです。ありがとうございました、またいとこ達遊びにいきまね、お体にお気をつけて下さいね(^^)I stayed for about a week with my cousins for work.Makiko is very kind and welcomed us warmly, making me feel as if I had returned to my grandmother’s house in the countryside.Even on days when I had to leave for work at night, she always said “Itterasshai (Have a safe trip),” which made me very happy.The accommodation is a traditional Japanese house that has continued for 150 years and has a lot of charm.I think that the experience of staying in an old Japanese house is very attractive not only for Japanese people, but also for people from overseas. In addition, we received many things such as walnut bagels made with Makiko’s homemade roselle, butterfly pea jelly, homemade pudding, and vegetables.Everything was very delicious, and I was truly happy because these are foods that are not easy to eat in everyday life.Thank you very much.Let’s go and visit again with my cousins. Please take good care of yourself.
If you’re looking for an accommodation that truly feels like home rather than a hotel, this is the place. Staying with Makiko felt like being welcomed by family. She is warm, generous, and full of life.Makiko opened not only her home (and her fridge!) to us, but also her heart. We got to taste delicious homemade food, drinks, and sweets, learn how to make proper Japanese rice, feed the fish, and even pick fresh vegetables from her garden. She read to our children, played with them, and taught us all a few Japanese words along the way.It was a truly special and unforgettable experience — and getting to know the beautiful area of Tottori was an added bonus.Can only recommend.

街中から離れた所にありますが、風情があり、オーナーも温かみがあり とても落ち着いた民泊でした。基本、自炊ですが、連泊すると山菜の天麩羅を出して下さるようです。日本庭園、山が借景になっていて同じ町に住んでいても又、オーナーとお喋りしに行きたいと思います。敷地内には洞窟もあり夏は13.4℃、冬は暖かいそうです。手作りのジュースとゼリーを頂きました。帰りには前の畑で栽培されている野菜までお土産に頂きました。
