豊中キャンパス内の大学のクラブ、学部、研究室が主催するバーベキュースポット。隣接する池のカメを見るための木製のデッキと、そこに座るためのベンチがいくつかあります。入り口の2つのライトのうち、1つは長年機能していません。入り口のトレリスに詳細を掲示して予約できます。（原文）The most popular spot for BBQs organised by university clubs, departments, and laboratories in Toyonaka campus. No facilities are provided other than a wooden deck from which to watch the turtles in the adjacent pond, and a couple of benches to sit on: you have to bring all your gear. Of the two lights over the entrance, one has not functioned for many years. Reservations can be made by posting details on the trellis at the entrance.

周辺のオススメ
The area is very nice, however, we've been told that we can't actually barbecue here (in fact, we've been told that we can't barbecue in the premises of the campus)During all of the years I've been in Osaka Uni, this was the first time I've been told that this area cannot be used for barbecue. And there are no signs or any indication at the place that it's not permitted. I understand that the smoke can be bothersome, but if it's such a major issue, I think the university should step in an make clear rules about the usage of this space. Google maps says it's a barbecue area, after all. Also, I don't think it's realistic to expect that everyone will be aware of these rules, especially when we first heard of it from an angry middle-aged man running out of his car. Is he going to do it to everyone who tries to use the space for BBQ? A sign would be a lot more efficient and probably more polite and nice too.TLDR: The university needs to have a very clear stance in the use of this space and either impose rules or let people freely use it because there's at least one very angry man (dare I say, livid) that does not want any bbq happening there.EDIT: As of October 11th, 2024, we got the confirmation that there's no rule that prohibits the use of that space for BBQ. Do BBQ and be happy!
