별도 예약없이 드랍인 했습니다.칸다 선생님과 관원분들께서 너무 친절하게 대해주셔서 편한마음으로 운동할 수 있었고, 시설또한 깨끗하고 깔끔합니다.드랍인 3000엔 도복대여 1000엔 들었습니다후쿠오카에 다시 온다면 재방문 할 계획입니다.
Nice bunch of people. Technical rolls. When I went the crowd was older and more advanced. Lots of jokes and laughing. The professor was super welcoming, speaks some English."Old school BJJ" was the explanation.
Professional but not the most welcoming. Techniques were showed thoroughly and was nicely shown even though the coach couldn't speak a word english. However, students and instructures felt avoiding when it was time to pair up and later during sparring. Not as welcoming and friendly as other clubs I've visited in Japan and Korea.Nice soft mat. Showers available(bring own soap and towel), free rental GI. 3000 yen for a days training.
I trained here for two months during my stay in Fukuoka. The sensei’s are excellent and the club is very technical, everyone is very warm and friendly. A great bjj community. I will miss training here.

The instructors are top notch and the students are incredibly patient and helpful. Even though I didn't speak any Japanese, everyone went above and beyond to do their best to translate and demo the smallest details for me. I highly recommend Axis for any foreigner who wants to train in Fukuoka.

Over the past decade I have had that opportunity to visit #Fukuoka on four occasions; 2016, 2019, 2023, and 2025.The first time I visited I found Axis Jiujitsu Academy, and have made an effort to train there as much as I can possibly fit in during my stay.I truly feel at home there, my home away from home, because although my Japanese language ability has not progressed much in a decade, my Jiujitsu skill has slightly improved over the years, and has allowed me to communicate with other fanatic and fantastic practitioners half way around the globe.Special thanks to Kanda Sensei, Oba Sensei and the rest of team for their gracious hospitality and for sharing of #jiujitsu #knowledge #truth #goodness #beauty
