I've tried quite a few barbers on island and I always end up going back to Sei because he is the best. Every time I've walked out of Clippers58 I've always had exactly what I asked for. Very cool hip hop and basketball vibe in the shop too since I'm a fan of both. Just remember to call ahead of time for an appointment because he does not take walk ins.

First and foremost, make an appointment. I was lucky to catch an open slot, but they fill up quickly. The vibe of the shop took me back to NY, with hip hop playing, shoes displayed and sports memorabilia on the walls.The cut was nothing short of amazing, and I've always said a good barber is like a magician. A skin fade, quick beard trim and razor lineup completed the whole session. Will definitely be coming back, one of the best cuts I've had in a while.

Other reviewers said the Sei's customer service could be better, but I had no complaints whatsoever. He's a super friendly, chilled guy who speaks a good amount of English - although speaking a little Japanese never hurts!The cut is easily the best I've had in Japan, Sei meticulously performs an awesome western style clipper fade, sweet style on top and careful straight blade shave to finish with excellent attention to detail that cannot be beaten for ¥2,000!

I'm not someone who usually goes to shops like this but WOW was this guy good. My hair is difficult to work with and get right, but he did an amazing job. You can't beat the price either, coming from Tokyo someone of this skill level is a crazy deal.Also the amount of detail he puts into your hair is something I really haven't seen before.
