We had a blast learning Japanese cooking and hanging out with other tourists like us.Masa and Junko, the couple who hosted our cooking class, are super sweet and patient. They explained everything so well and helped us make really tasty Ramen and Gyoza.We learned a ton about cooking techniques, Japanese culture & food, Ramen, Gyoza, you name it. They took so many pictures in class. After it's over, they shared those sweet pictures and the recipes we learned.I'm a vegetarian, so they set up everything for me separately, from the ramen broth to the gyoza filling.It's been a year since our Japan trip. I've made ramen so many times at home, and everyone loves it.We totally recommend this place to anyone who loves food and culture. You won't regret the money you spend on this class.
Fun times learning how to make Japanese omelet and sushi. Junko and Masa were both friendly and welcoming to our group.
We spent our last day in Japan at Chagohan Tokyo, and what an absolute treat it was! Masa and his wife, Junko, are not only incredibly kind but also deeply knowledgeable. With their guidance, we managed to make both an omelette and a sushi platter — and even as complete beginners, our dishes turned out looking pretty impressive. The taste, though, was on another level: absolutely incredible.Masa recommended we try his soba-making class next time, as that’s his specialty — and we can say with 100% certainty that we’ll be back to do just that when we return to Japan.Another highlight was the visit to the fish market: so authentic, buzzing with energy, and not a tourist in sight. The quality of the fish, especially the tuna, was outstanding, and the atmosphere was unforgettable.All in all, the experience was worth every yen — an unforgettable morning in Tokyo. Thank you, Masa and Junko, for welcoming us so warmly and giving us such a special memory to take home!
Świetny kurs gotowania ramen i gyoza! Wszystko perfekcyjnie przygotowane i jasno wytłumaczone. Gotowaliśmy wspólnie krok po kroku, w super atmosferze. Zajęcia prowadzone przez dwie przesympatyczne osoby – profesjonalnie i z humorem. Na koniec zjedliśmy własnoręcznie przygotowane dania – było przepysznie! Świetna zabawa, dużo śmiechu i zero stresu. Nawet nasze 10-letnie dzieci były zachwycone! Polecamy z całego serca! 🍜🥟
We did the Ramen and Gyoza cooking class and it was really good!There was also an option for a vegan variation as well which was super tasty and special.The space is really nice, Masa and Junko are really nice and speak great English and the food is great and we left with the feeling we can do it back home.
Eines der Highlights unseres Japanurlaubs.Wir hatten den Gyoza/Ramen Kochkurs gebucht. Es hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht zu lernen, wie man Gyoza faltet und Ramen zubereitet. Masa und Junko waren ganz tolle Lehrer und herzliche Gastgeber.
Such a wonderful experience. The married couple (owners) that arrange the experience are so thoughtful and highly knowledgeable regarding the cooking class. They made us feel like we were their friends/family. The experience is so professionally done while also feeling like we were cooking at home. Would definitely return here again when we visit Japan again.
Wow what a fun afternoon making Buckwheat noodles and tempura.Masa and Junko were amazing hosts and created a lovely relaxed atmosphere. I especially enjoyed eating the food we all prepared then chatting u0026 sharing a drink with you both afterwards.Highly recommended if you want an authentic cooking experience in Tokyo with small groups and good vibes.Thanks again

One of the best experiences to do in Japan. The husband/ wife duo are so so nice. Super friendly. They explain the history of sushi, the ingredients and teach how to make the most delicious nigiri / sushi with the freshest of ingredients. Really fun and a highlight of our 3 week trip.
