A beautiful gallery - in a traditional Japanese house - and incredibly knowledgeable staff who all speak fluent English. We had a wonderful visit with our old friends here. Over many years we have purchased beautiful prints and painting from here - all of which remind us of our time in Japan.
A small quaint gallery but well selected art works by both Japanese and foreign artists on Japan
The door was locked but I gained admission after ringing the bell/intercom (no prior notice or appointment). The gallery is in a traditional wooden home. Very lovely and the man who answered the door spoke lovely English and was very gracious.
I always love coming here. This is the spot for finding contemporary art in Japan, along with being the best spot for discovering how the movement began in Tokyo.Thanks so much for always being wonderful and sharing so much about the art and the artists!
