Absolutely fantastic antiques store. Went in looking for Netsuke for a family member knowing virtually nothing about them. The staff were incredibly courteous and patient answering all our questions. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone interested in Japanese antiques.
The place to go if you are interested in antique Netsuke in Tokyo. Amazing collection, professionalism and kindness in everything they do.
Fantastic place to see and purchase authentic Japanese netsukes. They are fluent in english and are very knowledgable of their products. I felt warm and happy from their kindness and sincerety. There are affordable pieces for me and high end pieces for the true collectors. Highly reccomended for anyone visiting Tokyo for arts and culture.Abit tricky to find their shop because its in a condominiun unit. You might want to email or call them first before going there.
Amazing Netsuke Collection and wonderful, attentive staff!
Beautiful shop with an amazing collection of Netsuke. The staff is very very kind! Only thing, difficult to find. You need to go to the entrance of the building in the small road next to the Chinese restaurant. The door is 704 at the 7th floor
One of the highlights of my trip was visiting Sagemonoya! The staff sat with me for 90 minutes and shared their entire collection of antique Netsuke (probably 100+ unique pieces), masterfully explaining each one in detail. The pieces were all incredible, and everyone in the shop was unbelievably kind and helpful. If you are interested in purchasing or viewing a collection of Japanese antiques, I could not recommend this place more highly!
It’s really a great place for netsuke and Inro. They do have a variety of museum-grade pieces. The staff there are really friendly and welcoming. They are really professional!

It is a rare gallery that informs as well as displays fine art. The art in this case is netsuke, and the examples on display were varied and dazzling. The woman who presented them to me (shamefully, I can't remember her name) was extremely knowledgeable and generous with her time. And her showroom turned out to be a lovely, antique-filled appartement. Very memorable.Highest recommendations.
