This is my first time in Japan and I had an unforgettable experience visiting this temple for their calligraphy class/meditation experience. The man who runs the classes, Taki, a Buddhist monk, is very friendly and was a wonderful teacher/ leader in meditation. His English was also good as he spent time in Australia, so I was able to learn a lot from him about Buddhism, the temple’s long history, and things about Japanese culture in general! I booked through Get Your Guide and I highly recommend the experience. Thanks Taki- Isabelle
