渋谷区本町に位置し、観光地から離れているため静かな環境です。
周囲にはコンビニやレストランが揃い、便利な立地が魅力です。
小さな部屋でも落ち着いて休める空間で、シャワーも充実しています。
Great place to dive in at the end of the day while exploring Tokyo. The rooms aren’t big, but they don’t present themselves as particularly large. The walls are very thin, so I think experience depends on the other customers, though whilst we were there everyone was very quiet and respectful of others.The location is pretty good, a few stops from Shinjuku and if you happen to miss the last train it’s only a 50 minute walk or a 20 minute ride on the LUUP scooters.

Never felt so uncomfortable with all the house rule signed plastered everywhere. Every rule is then followed by a threat. You also need to go down and up a stair, not ideal for those with luggages. You are better off in a capsule hostel.

I hope that the next time I travel to Japan I will have the means to stay somewhere a smidge nicer but because my budget was so tight this summer, I was grateful to find a place to sleep that was as affordable as TaKoBeYa. The other guests were generally thoughtful. The place was clean. The location was convenient. This is likely a me problem but I had a hard time finding it since it’s kind of a maze around the AirBnB.Overall, I agree with the reviews citing “you get what you pay for” but if you’re in a pinch, there’s nothing awful about this option as a stay. It has beds, showers, a bathroom, kitchen area, washer, and air conditioning! There’s lots of stellar restaurants, public transits, and parks nearby. Despite its shortcomings, it’ll always have a special place in my heart and be part of my memories of Japan.Photography by Jason Taylor
