駐車場は近くにあります無料です室内に民芸品が配置されており実際に使用するような展示もあります。
I'm really interested in Japanese folk craft and was delighted to find this amazing museum. One of the best folk craft museums I've visited in Japan. There's several little museums and a tea house, a short bus ride from central Toyama city. There's a museum with lots of explanations (all in Japanese) about traditional Japanese life, a fantastic Mingei (folk craft) museum (this doesn't have much explanation, as is typical of Japanese Mingei, which is meant to be appreciated through looking rather than prior knowledge, but if you're interested then it's possible to look up Mingei, Yanagi Soetsu etc), a ceramic museum with historic and contemporary pieces, an archaeological museum with very cool pre-history, and a tea house serving delicious matcha and Japanese sweets. Really, really recommended for an enjoyable and unusual day out to learn about traditional Japan. It's incredibly good value, 530 yen for all of the museums. And not crowded at all. Please note that apart from the teahouse there's no restaurant or cafe, so make sure to bring your own food if needed.

Really enjoyed this crafts museum set in a traditional house. Some beautiful items and very tranquil surroundings. It’s ¥100 per museum in the complex or around 500 for access to all of them.
