誠心寺の特徴
浄土宗の教えを伝える、深い精神性を感じるお寺です。
深草直違橋の近くに位置し、歴史的な雰囲気が漂っています。
心を落ち着けるための静かな空間が広がる場所です。
浄土宗のお寺。 山門への入り口から 境内に入って、 本堂やお墓など非常に良く綺麗に整備されていて気持ちがいい。 山門前の道路は一歩通行だが 、京都医療センターもあって結構交通量が多い所。
街道第四橋のアーチと言うより、トンネル状の橋が境内に入ると見る事が出来る、今となれば実に珍しい石橋です。これは橋を渡って、東側の了峰寺に行く途中の道でも見られます。
