Pleasant traditional Kyoto house in a convenient location. The house is a traditional Kyoto machiya: two stories and narrow. Tatami floors and futon to sleep on. Air conditioning is effective against the Kyoto summer heat. Tiny garden in the back, and a washing machine. The neighborhood is quiet. Although there is no bath, you won't miss it because there are several excellent public baths nearby (try the electrified one!). The B and B will provide you with tickets that give admittance to two. The house is conveniently located between Nikolaj Station (JR line to Kyoto Station) and Saiin Station (metro to Gion). There are many shops and restaurants near the stations.
