A unique stationery shop with the kindest shopkeeper! She noticed when I looked confused and explained how to use something without having to ask. She also wrapped my purchases beautifully. Don’t miss the book covers, they’re the best part, and I haven’t seen anything like them in my four days in Japan.
I went here one morning while walking through Gion and bought some postcards, washi tape, and an accordion book. All the designs are made in-house, and there are stationery goods made from recycled window screens. The clerk was so nice and gave me a free set of mini envelopes :)
Beautiful handmade paper products, perfect for souvenirs. (But I definitely bought a few for myself!) The shop owner even showed me an origami trick! I won't spoil it here, you'll have to go it for yourself! But she ended up giving me the origami as a gift! So sweet and kind. Exquisite goods and reasonably priced. This is a total hidden gem!
수준 높은 일러스트가 그려진 종이, 편지지, 메모장 등을 파는 곳입니다.일러스트는 예쁘기만한 게 아니라 절제되어있으면서 화려한 느낌인지라 교토에 기대하는 느낌을 충족시켜줍니다.판매하는 편지지나 메모지는 사이즈가 다양하고 각 종이와 같은 그림에 알맞은 봉투까지 구비되어있습니다.가장 놀라운 건, 그냥 오래된 사진을 프린트한 것들이랑 비슷한 가격이거나 더 저렴하기까지 합니다.(일부 엽서나 작은 봉투는 매당 100엔부터 시작합니다!)북커버랑 작은 봉투, 메모패드를 하나씩 구매했는데 좀 더 사올 걸 후회막심...교토에 또 온다면 반드시 방문하고 싶습니다.

お店の方が懐紙を購入したところ、割り箸袋.楊枝入れ.ポチ袋.メッセージ袋の作り方を目の前で教えてくださいました。娘はブックカバーを購入したところ和紙のお人形さんの付いた手作りのブックマーカーをいただきました。

We purchased two beautiful book-covers and the owner was kind enough to make us not only handmade bookmarks but also gave us some freshly pressed Autumn leaves as well as her own origami.
