Great tiny gallery, down an old alley in an old machiya house .Run by very kind and open minded folks. The exhibitions here are always changing. I've seen both local and international artists and collective groups, and a very wide range of mediums and conceptual ideas. It is a consistently interesting and thought-provoking place, in a Kyoto gallery landscape that can sometimes be a bit too conservative. Thanks to these people, for keeping it real.

町屋隠れ家ギャラリー入口分かりにくいので要注意。
これはあらゆる種類の変化する展覧会と彫刻と写真を含む現代美術の素晴らしいアートギャラリーです。小さな白いキューブスタイルのスペース。（原文）This is a great art gallery with all kinds of changing exhibitions and contemporary art that includes sculpture and Photography. Small white cube style space.
路地の奥にあるいかにも町家らしい佇まいです。一階はすっきりシンプルな壁面。二階は一本梁が渡された重厚な造り。とても対照的な空間自体も面白いギャラリーです。
