女性4人で新道あずき庵に宿泊十分な広さ寄せガラスがレトロで素敵💕ベッドも寝心地良かったです。荷物を宿まで届けて下さったのも助かりました。夕食を食べて夜にチェックインするまで十分に散策することができました。町屋珈琲美味しくいただきました。夜中隣家からの音が気になりました。

周辺のオススメ
This machiya (rentable thru Machiya Inns & Hotels on Booking or their site) is in a perfect location in Gion, very close to Gion-Shijo station (great for getting to fushimi inari or Nara), Pontocho, Kawaramachi station (which is very useful for getting across town or to osaka), Ninen-Zaka, etc. You basically have your own Zen temple (Kennin-ji) right around the corner also. It's on a very quiet side street with zero concerns about partying or noise - the loudest thing we heard was rain or the occasional dawn crow-calls.It's 2BR upstairs (well, it's set up that way but the walls don't go floor to ceiling because it's an old machiya) with 2 western twins in one room and 2 futons on tatami in the other. Only gripe is about the lighting situation - the lamps are very dark at night, and the window shades are very thin so it's incredibly bright during daylight, so those 430am Kyoto sunrises really hit hard. Bring an eye mask.Downstairs is a full but tiny kitchen, clothes washer, toilet, shower+bath etc, good wifi, good plates/bowls/cups setup. A tiny traditional garden in the back. If you're over 5'10", make sure to watch your head!A really great house to rent giving you a springboard to all that Gion and Higashiyama have to offer. Highly recommend.
