Japanese have an ingenious method of making something to ubiquitous, yet so useful. Unlike the westernized counterpart, the shop keepers are respectful, and the shop is bright and had an assortment of necessities. Definitely somewhere great to pick up some food, drinks, or other items.
Just a local covenient store notthing special
One of three main convenience store chains in Japan (the others are 7-11 and FamilyMart). This is similar to those but gets knocked HARD for having ATMs that do NOT accept cards from outside Japan. And since Japan is a mainly cash society, you need ATMs. This location was convenient as we stayed up the hill at Guesthouse Soi (great!) but really needed access to cash.
