Kumano Kodo沿いで最もおすすめの宿泊施設として評判です。
Yae is a very kind helpful owner, excellent dinner (including an amazing curry!) and breakfast, comfortable lodging. Great common space indoor and outside. She speaks English well and arrived 5 minutes after we called to pick us up. Well worth the short detour (5 minutes drive) off the trail.
A nice place to rest and recover during the hike through the Kumano Kodo near Takahara Kumano Shrine. The nice owner provides tasty food, pickup and drop-off service, and an amazing Japanese lunch bento for the next day's trip. Plus, in summer, after a hot bath to soothe the body, there are cool beers in the refrigerator(not free), haha.
You can book as a solo traveler, which is what I did. The Maeda couple are so nice and kind. I got a ride from Satoru-san, the husband, from Takahara rest area. You can call them but I wound up e-mailing them (which is how I booked with them as well).I can't go over how much I appreciate all their little actions. And the food was so delicious, Yae-san is a wonderful cook. The rooms themselves were comfortable and there was only another couple along with me. Highly recommended.
Absolutely lovely home stay. The food is the best we've had in japan. The hosts are incredibly nice, polite and speak english. Don't worry about the walk to here, you can call the hosts once you are at takahara and they'll pick you up from there. She will also drive you back the next day so you can resume your hike. Incredibly homely. Would rate it 6 stars if I could.
Our favourite stay of the whole trip, cannot recommend this enough! Wish we had stayed longer, it was truly magical. Beds were super comfortable and the host looked after us from start to finish. Incredible way to end the Kumano Kodo!
Perfect! 男主人跟女主人都很好溝通，女主人的英文不錯，對於中邊路的旅行者路線尤其細心，會提醒路線也會建議走法，或者看情況調整建議，非常棒！三餐就不用說了，更是完美，每一餐都是好吃的好料，顯然女主人也很愛下廚，廚藝極好。這邊一天只接待一組客人，只有一間房間，兩個單人床，可是床很好睡。我吃完晚餐，躺上床就睡著了......醒來已經是隔天了。簡單來說，是那種好到即使回了台灣，還會想送禮物跟他們的guest house。
I loved staying here! Yae and her husband were both the happiest and sweetest people you will meet. Yae shares her love for Nepal all throughout the house and she even makes the yummiest curries🌟🌟 thank you for having me !
I had a great stay with so lovely hosts. It feels very cozy. Food and stories about Kendo and Nepal was heartwarming. Thank you so much!
Ein toller Ort zum Übernachten. Das Essen von yaei ist ganz toll. Gerne wieder.

We stayed at Yae's place for one night in April. After a walk from Takigiri. The lovely Michi picked us up from the viewpoint and also brought us back the next morning to the same point to start the walk. Yae is charming, smiling and a great cook. The food she served us in the evening and in the morning was delicious and aesthetic like a painting. She also surprised us with an incredibly delicious lunch box. There are no words to describe what a wonderful experience it was to stay at Yae's home Thank you yae and thank you, Michi. You are wonderful.🌺
