お釜の滝の特徴
新野町の奥地にひっそり佇む、神秘的な秘境です。
自然に囲まれた壮大な景観が堪能できる場所です。
歴史的な背景を持つ特別なスポットがあります。
秘境です！途中で心が折れそうになりましたが素敵な滝がありホッとしました。
神秘的な場所です！ただしここに行くにはナビでは正しく案内してもらえません（他の方もコメントがある通り）ここへ行くには阿南相生線県道35号を新野駅方面から西へ向かい2車線から極細道へと変わる手前に下へ降りる道が左手にありますのでそれを通って行く必要があります。ただ、軽自動車でとおるのがやっとほどの道です。滝はすごく神秘的でした！
車で行くのはお勧め出来ません。体力に自信がある方は、どんどろの滝経由で自転車🚲がおすすめです。阿南駅から往復50キロで約3時間ぐらいで回れます。鳥居⛩️の奥に見えるお釜の滝は非常に神秘的な姿を見せており大変見応えがある滝でした。滝壺付近にも行けますが、道が狭く滑りやすいので注意必要です。滝壺は美しいエメラルドグリーンで非常に神秘的な場所でした。簡単に行ける場所ではないので余計に特別な感じになると思います。訪問される際は、充分に準備して行ってみて下さい。
新野町の奥地に存在する秘境とも言える場所。桑野川の源流らしい（？）。雰囲気が凄まじく、マイナスイオンも感じられ、トトロが出てくるんじゃないかというくらいな秘境。釜神社の入り口を目印に左手の小道を下り、橋を渡り、神社を通り、さらに奥まで行くと滝がある。滝の目の前まで下りれるように鎖の手すりが一応設置してある。入り口はわかりずらく、車（行くなら軽）も少し離れた山道に路駐するしか方法がないので、難易度は高め。境内では「ものを落としてはいけない」みたいなルールもあるので、知り合いがいるなら地元の人と一緒に行くのがいいかも。

周辺のオススメ
Do not go to where Google navigates you for the shrine or the waterfall (route 35, north west of the shrine). There is nothing there that leads you to these places. We stubbornly climbed up the hill into the woods, but only found a few maintenance paths for the electricity poles.Following the tips from other users, we navigated from Naka to the Jizoan temple, located along the 35, a few km north east from the shrine. We ended up parking a bit before the village, at the crossing between the road from Naka and the 35 coming from Aratano. Maybe it's being lost in translation, but Google is unaware of any village called Niino in this region.Across the street from a little cemetery, about 150m west from Jizoan temple, there is actually a rather inconspicuous sign post for the shrine, saying it's 2.1 km away. There is a narrow road there that splits from the 35 and leads down into the fields. You can still drive down there, but after a few hundred meters the road indeed gets very narrow, and I wouldn't recommend taking the car there.From where we parked it was a 5-10 minute walk to the road leading down, another 5-10 to the torii gate, and another 20 to get to the shrine. Mind you, this was timed on the way back (so no lingering, wayfinding etc.).To get to the shrine from the torii, follow the paved road right of the torii gate (keeping the torii on your left), and stay on that paved path, always keeping the river on your left, until you see the stone sign for the shrine and bridge behind it.The waterfall and basin are just behind the shrine, you can't miss it. The pathway down isn't super easy, so watch your step.I can't attest to any "negative ions", but the rice fields, the forest, the shrine en the waterfall definitely gave off the feeling of walking in Totoro's land.
